Expert Arborist (tree doctor) advice

Consulting Arborists are often referred to by the public and media as Tree Surgeons or Tree Doctors. A certified Consulting Arborist must hold a Certificate Level 4 or above to offer client advice in relation to tree issues. ArborCo only employs Certificate level 5 Consulting Arborists for technical tree advice or tree reports. All our staff are arboriculturally trained and many are highly regarded within the industry.

Tree Inspection

If you are worried about your tree’s health, falling tree limbs or whole tree failure, a detailed tree inspection by our Consulting Arborists can identify issues and advise on possible methods of addressing the tree problems. This tree advice may include tree retention or tree removal and tree replacement options.

Tree Advice

All of our tree advice is supplied from trained and highly qualified Arborists (often referred to as Tree Surgeons or Tree Doctors). ArborCo has over 20 years experience in arboricultural consulting for property owners.

Our consultant arborists can supply authoritative tree information on:

• Tree health and structure. • Tree hazard and risk assessment.
• Development near trees. • Tree reports for Council.
• Proactive tree maintenance. • Tree budget estimates.
• Whole of site tree surveys. • Tree valuations.
• Tree disputes. • Insurance claims from tree incidents.
• Heritage trees or significance. • Tree species recommendations for replanting.

If required, ArborCo can provide expert testimony in court in relation to tree disputes or incidents. All our arborists are covered by ArborCo’s Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Tree reports

Tree Reports

If you need a documented tree report for third parties, our consulting arborists will liaise with you in regard to your requirements and present you with an independent expert tree report. Tree reports can be for tree disputes, tree incidents, hazardous trees, land use changes or tree retention requirements.

We perform site inspections and prepare arboricultural reports tailored to each situation’s legal requirements. Tree reports for property development are submitted relative to your planning permit and Local Council tree regulations. These tree reports account for any tree removal, tree replanting requirements, tree pruning, tree transplanting or tree protection zones required under relevant laws.

Tree Hazard

Tree Hazard Assessment

Our qualified and insured arborists can perform detailed tree inspections that provide you with documented tree assessments noting any potential hazards and outlining remedial requirements and costs for actions that may be required.

Tree Permits

If plans for your property entail tree removals or tree pruning we can prepare and submit applications for tree works permits with your local council on your behalf. ArborCo can also work with you on your plans for your property within the frame work of local tree retention requirements and submit independent supporting documentation and tree reports with any tree permit applications if required.

Tree protection

Tree Protection

Australian Standards, laws in relation to tree retention and local council laws, all have defined requirements in regard to the protection of trees on development sites. If you are developing a property or are unsure of your legal responsibilities in relation to trees, or are concerned about tree health and tree retention requirements before, during and after excavation, building or landscape changes, contact ArborCo to discuss these and we can advise on the requirements for your situation.

Tree Plans as part of Site Master Plans

Our Consulting Arborists can assess your trees and give advice on tree life expectancy, tree health issues and tree suitability relative to your current or proposed landscape. They can identify remedial tree work requirements, project future tree maintenance costs and assist in new tree species selection and tree placement for long-term property plans. These tree plans can be one off reports or supplied as part of an on-going tree management system.

Tree Systems for easier Property Management

If you would prefer a dynamic system to manage your trees rather than one-off “window in time” site inspections and reports, ArborCo can offer you a range of dynamic tree management systems to suit your size of tree population, tree budget, interactive requirements and periodic tree reporting and analytical needs.
